No Mercy
"Mercy let be off; damn them who pity! Kill and torture; spare not; be upon them!
That stele they shall call the Abomination of Desolation; count well its name, & it shall be to you as 718. Why? Because
of the fall of Because, that he is not there again." Liber al vel Legis 3:18-20
The harsh approach to resolving the world's chaotic condition is reflected again in this part of
the message.
The new Church of the Sun will show no mercy for the bleeding hearts who tear at the fabric
of individual freedom. The "do-gooders" that peek from their windows and call civil authority to report on the actions of
their neighbors will be silenced once and for all. And to hell with anyone who might pity them.
But what about love you ask.
Thelemites practice love under will. Sometimes harsh response is the only way to display love. The
tortured and possessed fear-stricken church-goer would be better off thrust out of this world and into the reality of blessed
death. Their parting gives the rest an inch more of the freedom sought.
But what is this? "Kill and torture; spare not; be upon them!" Open warfare? As I study this troubling
verse a Mad Max scenario comes to mind. Mad Max is the name of a classic film about a futuristic world following a world atomic
war in which meandering survivors fight one another for the few spoils of civilization left intact. Is this to be our fate?
"That stele they shall call the Abomination of Desolation; count well its name,
& it shall be to you as 718." We previously determined that the Abomination of Desolation is a phrase used by the
Christian church to describe the destruction of the church by the Beast. It will be brought about by the creation of the Church
of the Beast through various entities within the Magical Order of the Sun including Lucifer.
So what is Verse 18 saying? When you break down the numbers 7+1+8 you get 16, then add 1+6 to get
7. Seven is the Tarot Card Chariot, symbolizing triumph, victory and hope but through an ill-dignified system of "authority
under authority." It calls for violence in maintaining order and a lust of destruction.
The card in the Crowley deck depicts four Sphinxes drawing the chariot. These are the Bull, the
Lion, the Eagle and the Man, the whole representing the sixteen sub-elements. The Charioteer holds the Holy Grail. In its
center shines radiant blood, symbolizing the presence of Light in Darkness.
The Seventh Tarot Card also was the Hierophant Card in the older decks. The Hierophant is the Beast.
The charioteer also depicts Abram leaving the ancient City of Ur. The Holy Grail in his hand is the destructive power over
the atoms. It is an atomic bomb. It's light is so intense it is blinding.
Light represents truth. Thus expect the new church to be established on a foundation of proof, not
faith. This proof will be so profound, it will destroy the old dogmatic religious systems.
The new church will be something quite well defined in the Book of the Revelation. It will be an
institution that the word "church" does not fit. Somewhat like the Vatican, it will involve financial, government
and religion together. It will be the real order for the new world. It will be thrust upon the masses by force.
That humanity allowed itself to fall into this state of stupidity, with the numbers of dimwits and
misfits breeding into a state of critical mass, is a tragedy. The Book of the Law was given to mankind a full 100 years in
advance of the looming reign of Horus. It was a period of grace in which we were granted a final warning. Either we were to
clean up our act, or face the consequences.
Like Typhon, the people are sliding from the wheel of fortune. Now, to fix this mess, the Beast
must rise. He is a state of mind that comes with the power of lightning and fire. The destruction by self-induced war, by
natural elements, and by self-inflicted suicidal acts will be massive. Blood will flow in the streets. When it ends, only a remnant of the human race, enough to regenerate the species under the New Aeon of Horus,
will remain.
Verse 19 mocks anyone that asks why this must happen. "Why? Because of the fall
of Because, that he is not there again." Lest you forget, all reason is a lie. If you haven't figured it out by now,
don't bother to ask. For you there will be no answer.
