The Beast And The Scarlet Woman
"Now ye shall know that the chosen priest & apostle of infinite space is the
prince-priest, the Beast; and in his woman, called the Scarlet Woman, is all power given. They shall gather my children into
their fold; they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men." Book of the Law 1:15
The Christian Bible is full of warnings about an "end-times" event during which various personalities
play key roles in bringing about a judgment against the sins of mankind. The book tells of an Antichrist, a world dictator
who rises miraculously to power. There also is someone identified as the Beast, and a harlot known as Mystery Babylon.
The beast, as presented in the Book of the Revelation, is portrayed as a most evil person. He rises
with great power and comes back to life after receiving a deadly wound to the head. Then, through magic and deception, he
becomes some kind of world power who declares war against the church. Worst of all, he rations food to people willing to bear
a special mark on their right hand or foreheads. He forces division among those willing to accept him and those who will not.
Those who reject his ways, refusing to accept the mark, starve. That mark, we are told, is the "number of the beast," 666.
A brilliant essay by Joshua Jacob Seraphim (Frater N.O.X.) carefully describes the number 666 as
a "most Exalted Number of the Sun" and regarded as most holy by occultists for centuries.
Seraphim writes: "For nearly two thousand years, this Mystick Number 666 has been the prophetic
obsession of an unending breed of paranoid hordes of persecuting Christian fundamentalists and soothsayers of the Advent of
ANTICHRIST 666. The false religion of Christianity intertwines the identity of the ANTICHRIST with that of a mythic
figure of Satan, a human incarnation of ultimate evil, a malicious devil invented by priests of the obsolete church adoring
a profane image of Pan consecrated to insidious forces of ruin and desolation."
In other words, all that the world thinks it knows about the Beast and the events surrounding his
appearance is a carefully concocted lie, designed to protect not only Christianity, but all of the other false religious cults
that have enslaved humanity and prevented man's evolutionary progress.
The author of The Book of Revelation also warns about the Scarlet Woman. He wrote:
"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones
and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication; And upon her forehead
was a name written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS, AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman
drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus and when I saw her I wondered with great admiration."
Like the Beast, the Scarlet Woman is feared by the church for good reason. After being driven into
a role of servitude and shame for centuries, she is about to be recognized as a free and flaming star.
Of her Seraphim writes: "Priests and Kings, entire confederations shall tremble before the Lust
of the Scarlet Woman! The slave-spirit invites desolation, the Spirit of Babylon charges us to invoke the Mystick Scarlet
Woman, beneath the stars, naked in the black forests, amidst the burning sands of the desert. The Scarlet Woman in Antichristendom
is the Mother of the New Race, secret lover to New Men, Royal and Free under the New Order. It is we of Thelema, free
Antichristians who greet and hail the Scarlet Woman as star flaming to star. The sorrows of Women in the Old Aeon are entombed
in a Sepulcher of Lamentations, buried with the corpse of Mary inviolate."
These two future powers, the Beast and the Scarlet Woman, were so disconcerting to the angelic powers
driving the church, that prophetic warnings were issued early. They are found in both the Old and New Testaments. The warnings
have since become so engrained in the belief systems of both Jewish and Christian religions that millions of believers are
"on the lookout" for these so-called evil doers. They have been watching for them for thousands of years.
Crowley, who was severely demonized by church theologians and scholars throughout most of his lifetime,
called himself the Beast. He saw the church as an evil influence on mankind. That he penned the Book of the Law, in which
Horus proclaims in the third chapter: "with my Hawk's head I peck at the eyes of Jesus," is a clear
indication that the influence of the church was going to be challenged by The New Aeon.
The opening declarations by Nuit are, indeed, a call to the children of men to turn away from organized
fear-based and enslaving religious systems. They are invited as stars to seek all of the pleasures available to us during
our brief time in this unique third-dimensional existence, but do them with ritualistic love unto Nuit. Humans were never
meant to cower in fear of judgment and damnation for indulging in the very things the church has labeled as sin. Nuit declares
in Verse 41 that "The word of Sin is Restriction: O man!"
While the Christians are looking for three distinct characters connected with the apocalyptic end-time
events that many believe are upon us, some Bible scholars suggest that only the antichrist is going to be a physical person.
He will rise in the form of a world leader. The beast, described as having seven heads, is thought to be a block of nations
or seven world leaders. The woman, Babylon, is described as the fallen church.
But Nuit seems to be referring to specific individuals when she says: "Now ye
shall know that the chosen priest & apostle of infinite space is the prince-priest, the Beast, and in his woman, called
the Scarlet Woman, is all power given."
The Beast then is "chosen," he is an apostle of the order of Thelema, he is a magickian who has
risen to priesthood, and he seems to be accompanied by a woman to whom "all power" is given. Their reason for existence is
to "gather my children into their fold; they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men."
In other words, they will bring down the church and all other enslaving world religious systems
by revealing the deception, tearing down the veil, and exposing us to the light of truth.
Crowley perceived himself as the Beast, perhaps because he was the bearer of this message. But Nuit
seems to be making it clear in verse 17 that "ye (the writer of the book) are not so chosen." The work was reserved for another
who would come after Crowley.
She grants special gifts and powers to the Beast and Scarlet Woman when she proclaims: "For
he is ever a sun, and she a moon. But to him is the winged secret flame, and to her the stooping starlight. . . Burn upon
their brows, o splendrous serpent! O azure-lidded woman, bend upon them!" Both Nuit and Hadit will be guarding these
two servants.
The revealing of the Beast and Scarlet Woman will be made at a certain moment when the time is right.
Nuit says in verse 20 that "The key to the rituals is in the secret word which I have given unto him (the
priest)."
