Jesus Death And Resurrection A Political Ploy

The story of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was fabricated by powerful Jewish and Roman leaders for political reasons, Psychic and Prophet Aaron C. Donahue said Sunday.

Donahue said he has carefully examined events of that time and has discovered that a.) Jesus was never crucified but rather kidnapped and taken out into the desert where he was murdered and buried in a shallow, unmarked grave, and b.) his resurrection was a carefully prepared ruse designed to make people believe he was a god.

He told his Voice of Lucifer Internet radio audience Sunday that an empty tomb was prepared and Roman guards were placed in front of the stone to make sure nobody found out what was going on. The guards were not there to prevent Jesus from getting away. He was never there.

When the stone was rolled away, and the tomb was found empty, it appeared that a miracle happened, Donahue said. He said this was done to establish a new mythology concerning Jesus and was used as a form of political control.

Why was Jesus murdered?

Donahue said he was a rabble-rouser who preached rebellion within the Jewish religious system. Jesus was a political problem for both powerful Jewish religious leaders and the Roman government. Thus there was a plot by both the Jews and the Romans to have the Jesus problem fixed.

Thus we have the foundation for Christianity. It always was a hoax and the people bought it over the years, hook, line and sinker.

Donahue said everything about the Bible story of Jesus is copied from the mythology of civilizations that existed long before Jesus arrived on Earth, which makes it difficult for him to believe the Christians are still so close-minded about questioning their faith.

For example, the Persian sun-god Mithra, a myth dating back to about 1,400 B.C., involves a hero born of a virgin in a stable on the winter solstice. He was attended by shepherds who brought gifts. He shared a last supper with his followers before returning to his father, the god of all. Mithra did not die, but ascended directly into heaven. Followers believed he would return at the end of time to raise the dead in a physical resurrection for a final judgment. Also followers of Mithra were granted immortal life following baptism.

Buddha was born of a virgin, had 12 disciples, performed miracles, healed the sick, walked on water and fed 500 men from a small basket of cakes. The Buddha was transfigured on a mount, was crucified in a sin-atonement, suffered three days in hell and was resurrected. After this he ascended to Nirvana. He is referred to as the good shepherd, the carpenter and savior of the world.

The Egyptian god-son Horus was born of the virgin Isis on December 25. He was born in a cave, his birth was announced by a star in the east, and he was attended by three wise men. He was a child teacher in the temple, baptized by Anup the Baptizer, had 12 disciples, performed miracles, walked on water and raised El-Azar-us from the dead. Horus was transfigured on a mount, was crucified, buried in a tomb and resurrected. He was referred to as a fisher and was associated with the lamb, lion and fish.

The Indian god-man Krishna was born of a virgin, his father was a carpenter, his birth was attended by angels, wise men and shepherds, and they brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. An evil ruler attempted to kill the infant by ordering the slaughter of thousands of babies. Krishna worked miracles and wonders, raised the dead, healed lepers, the deaf and the blind. He used parables to teach about charity and love. He was transfigured in front of his disciples. Some stories say Krishna died on a tree or was crucified between two thieves. He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven.
