Biblical Concept Of Horned Beast

Rise Of The Beast

"The ordeals thou shalt oversee thyself, save only the blind ones. Refuse none, but thou shalt know & destroy the traitors. I am Ra-Hoor-Khuit; and I am powerful to protect my servant. Success is thy proof: argue not; convert not; talk not over much! Them that seek to entrap thee, to overthrow thee, them attack without pity or quarter; & destroy them utterly. Swift as a trodden serpent turn and strike! Be thou yet deadlier than he! Drag down their souls to awful torment: laugh at their fear: spit upon them!" Liber AL vel Legis 3:42

This is the start of the last half of the last chapter of the Book of the Law. It is severe. It will not be good reading for the squeamish of heart. It is a call for the rising of the Beast, the separating of the few to follow it, and the mass destruction of the rest.

The Beast is so named because it is a cold-hearted, malicious, but cunning philosophy capable of doing the job that must be done. It brings about the new church of the Magical Square of the Sun that sweeps the world, destroys the old religious systems, and ushers in the New Aeon.

The message in this verse appears to be meant only for the Beast. That passage 41 was clearly a message to the scribe, was among the reasons Crowley thought that he was the Beast. Yet even Crowley understood that one was to follow him to unlock all of the secrets in the Book of the Law.

Notice that the Beast is instructed in the first sentence to oversee the ordeals, except for only those who are blind. "Refuse none, but thou shalt know & destroy the traitors." As the new church comes into being, all will be welcomed.

The "blind" are those so locked into the false religious systems they are incapable of understanding the new message. Also wolves in sheep's clothing will be mixed among the flock. They are the "traitors," bound to bring dissention and destruction from within ranks. They also come in an attempt to get close enough to kill the Beast. But all will be found out. The Beast is given special powers and special protection from such as these. "I am Ra-Hoor-Khuit; and I am powerful to protect my servant."

The Beast will bear an overpowering message that especially appeals to many but revolting to others. There will be people of all age, but mostly youth, who come into this new church because it offers a solution to the chaos that grips the planet.

The Beast will be harsh in its dealings. All will be accomplished in the way of its choosing, and hard to convince otherwise. People may choose to either accept this system, or leave it. There will be no proselyting. "Success is thy proof: argue not; convert not; talk not over much!"

There will be severe judgment on those who attack the Beast and its "church." As it rises to power the punishments will intensify. "Them that seek to entrap thee, to overthrow thee, them attack without pity or quarter; & destroy them utterly. Swift as a trodden serpent turn and strike! Be thou yet deadlier than he! Drag down their souls to awful torment: laugh at their fear: spit upon them!"

Thus the war will begin as the Luciferians grow in power and confront the Christians, the Moslems and the others. I believe the battles will begin with attacks from within. Later they may lead to open warfare.
