Glasya-Labolas

Glasya-Labolas;
A Biblical Terror?

The Book of the Revelation, Chapter Nine, predicts a strange end-time event that used to leave me wondering.

The writer said: "I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth; and to him (the star) was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, and the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened . . .

"And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men who have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

"And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man."

When Aaron C. Donahue evoked the Goetia Spirit Glasya-Labolas and then drew a picture of it during a remote viewing session in his temple, he may have solved this ancient puzzle. This particular demon and the 36 legions of spirit that follow him, fit the description of the human-biting creatures described in those verses.

As he was in the midst of the remote viewing session, Donahue said he had a vision of "locust-like beings "flying" out of the earth biting men and terrifying all within the dream, yet they harm not a single thing of nature apart from the ills of man."

I suspect that we will not see these creatures. Rather they will strike us with some form of new and unknown disease that leaves us hurting as if we had been stung by a scorpion. Most people who live in the warmer desert areas of the world know the pain of a scorpion sting. Expand that pain to include the entire body and you may have a description of the sickness that will be the gift of Glasya-Labolas and his 36 legions.

The old magickians didn't get quite as qood a look at this spirit as Aaron, but they came close. They saw him as a dog-like animal with "gryphon wings." If you look close at the head of the creature in the Donahue drawing, you will see that the face bears a slight resemblance to certain varieties of hounds. Beyond that, however, they were far off base.

Glasya-Labolas is known for his ability to cause strife and bloodshed. He has no love for humans and would kill them before harming any of the animals of the world.
