How Aaron C. Donahue Ripped Off His Followers
By James Donahue
It was bad enough that Aaron C. Donahue used
his skills as a black magician and con-artist to manipulate and steal thousands of dollars from his immediate family, but
he used an Internet radio program to extract money for promised goods and services that were never delivered.
The only thing Aaron ever sold that was eventually received
by most people who mailed money was the joke certificate specifying the purchase of a fraction of the soul of the late
Pope Paul II. The reason this item was delivered was because Aaron's sister, Jennifer, took it upon herself too
make sure such a certificate was actually created, published and delivered to as many people as she could determine that
sent money.
Even at that, Aaron became an obstacle because
he insisted on approving the design, but failed to return the original created work once it was sent to him for proof reading.
Once she got the certificates printed and ready for mailing, Aaron objected and demanded a new printing, at Jennifer's expense.
Eventually she got the project past Aaron and the certificates were mailed.
Aaron's warning about a deadly Bird Flu pandemic
that was about to sweep the world, and his promise of a book that would give listeners a way of surviving the plague, was
an embarrassing rip-off that neither Jennifer nor this writer could fix. Aaron unexpectedly sold his book on the air during
one of his broadcasts, telling everyone that it was being published as he was speaking, and would be available within days.
On the night he said this, this writer was listening
to his show in an adjoining part of the house, and the announcement almost knocked me off of my chair. That is because
I was to be the editor and book publisher, and I was still waiting for Aaron to hand me the manuscript. Once
I had this in my hands, there was an estimated three months of hard work ahead as we carefully cleaned up and proof read the
copy, designed a cover, ran the book through a publishing software, made a master copy of each page in an ink jet
or lazer printer, then sent this to a publishing house for printing and binding. That Aaron was promising this
book in a matter of a few days was an impossibility.
What we learned after the broadcast was that the
book still was not written. Aaron said he was working on it but lacked the time to get it finished. I offered to write the
book if Aaron would tell me what it was to contain. I even suggested that he use a tape recorder, put the words into it, and
allow me to create text from that. He liked this idea, but never did it. This book was never written.
In the meantime, OMMNI, the name of the business
that carried Aaron's radio show, was receiving checks from all over the world with orders for this book. Because there
was no book to deliver, Jennifer attempted to fix this problem by offering an alternative service. She set up classes in remote
viewing on line for all who ordered Aaron's bogus book.
Aaron later accused Jennifer of withholding money
earned for remote viewing classes from “The Project,” which really meant from his personal pockets.
Aaron started another con-game that Jennifer
headed off. This involved his development of DVD recordings of projected images of demons, spirits of dead people, and other
entities that he claimed to have the unique ability to capture with advanced digital camera equipment. He told listeners one
night that he could personally “see” everyone who was watching his show and was projecting their image into a
single DVD that would be going on sale. People could then see the amazing images of themselves as Aaron saw them during that
show.
Because she was still digging Aaron out from
the book fiasco, Jennifer wisely blocked any attempt to pitch the sale of this DVD on his show. She could do this because
she was appearing on the show with Aaron at that time. Jennifer told Aaron she would not mass produce and sell any DVDs
until she had master copies in her hands. It was at about this time that Aaron kicked Jennifer off the show and began
telling eveyone that she was unfit for the project. In the end, however, she blocked Aaron from selling another item
that did not exist. She never received a single DVD that Aaron claimed he made.
Another project that Jennifer and several other
supporters of Aaron's program worked on during the early period, when Aaron was getting so popular he was invited to appearances
on Coast-to-Coast with Art Bell, was a mass recording on DVD of all of his radio broadcasts. Jennifer said it took a major
effort, but a master DVD was produced and sent to Aaron for his final approval. There it disappeared, never to be seen again.
Jennifer said it was an only copy, and the result of months and months of combined efforts by a lot of people. The recording
was to have been sold at a time when Aaron was very popular, and would probably have helped catapult him to world fame.
Why would Aaron refuse to cooperate and approve
the master recording? Would it be because Aaron knew he was a fraud, and that many of the predictions he gave on his shows
would not come true, and that eventually his recordings would come back to haunt him? Indeed, this may have been the real
reason he seized my personal computer, in which I downloaded his every show and then smashed it with a sledge hammer the day
I left him.
(What Aaron does not know is that we still have those predictions.
We will be publishing all the "prophecies" that failed, plus the two or three that appear to have accidentally come true.
)
Still another scheme involved the announcement
that Aaron's Luciferian movement was building the first of many “temples” at Phoenix, Arizona. These buildings,
planned all over the world were to be used for lectures, spiritual instruction, places for members to go for rest
and meditation, and best of all, for a special new kind of music to be performed. This music would be a special sound for
new bands that would pitch all of the 72 tones of the Goetia. Aaron said he raised all of the Goetia spirits and had all 72
tones in his head. The tones were a magical key to spiritual awakening and would be a gift from Aaron to the world.
Along with the temple announcement came a call
for donations of money to help in the construction. A special page was posted on the UMMO web site to promote this concept.
It is unknown just how much money came in because Aaron assigned his radio host, Dragon Kloud the job of handling this project.
Jennifer was unable to get details of the money received.
We know of a new Dell computer received by Aaron
in 2007 that listed on the web for well over $3,000. It was a generous donation by a supporter who heard Aaron ask for such
a computer on one of his shows. He may be sad to know that this computer remained in its box, unused, for months while Aaron
used this writer's personal Dell computer to do his work on line. He claimed the new computer was destroyed when
the electric company cut the power one day to change the service line to our house, and pressed the power company to buy him
a new one. Yet he never produced proof of damage. All the while, the computer that was supposedly destroyed remained in its
box, unused. It may still be in the box, riding around in Aaron's stolen U-Haul truck.
We have spotted other special web sites from time
to time calling for donations to support Aaron's work, but we have been unable to pin down just how many there are, and where
this money has been going. One that we know of was a site that called for donations to help abused women.
A word of warning. Never send money or goods to
support Aaron. He is a thief. It is all a scam.
